Students are expected to wear plain white socks. “Saints” branded socks are not required.
Students may come to school in their PE attire on days that they have PE lessons with the exception on Mondays where all students are expected to be in the school uniform at the start of day.
Students are not required to change out of their PE attire after their PE lessons. Please refer to Attire, Grooming & Behaviour Guidelines (moe.edu.sg)
The number of uniforms very much depends on your home situation and how many you can wash per week.
Students may come to school in their PE attire on days that they have PE lessons / CCA (during school hours) / PAL with the exception on Mondays where all students are expected to be in the school uniform at the start of day.
From our experience, most parents would buy one set of the main school uniform at the very least for Mondays and more sets of the PE Attire. We would recommend this approach until such time you receive your finalse class timetable (that would indicate the PE/PAL days) and / or any changes to the school policy due to hot weather.

Your child’s class teacher will be reaching out to you through Parents Gateway with the exact packing list and preparatory administration (e.g., compiling of worksheets) for the first few days of school.
This ensures that your child packs light for the first few days as they progressively bring their books and worksheets to school. This process is the same for all levels for the first week of school.
The school bookshop does sell bags however there is no recommended school bag. You and your child are free to purchase any school bag you prefer.
Prices for food range from $0.50 to $2.20 (without further Add-Ons). It is recommended that you discuss with your child on his preferences and adjust the pocket money accordingly.
Definitely. The school will be briefing you on the first day events as well as how parents can be involved.
Parents will send their child to school and student-leaders / buddies / parent volunteers will be on hand to lead your child to his class directly and make sure he is happy and settled in. There will be lots of support to deal with your child's anxieties.
Parents will be able to view their child going for their recess time from outside the canteen. The school will advise you on the timing based on your child's class. Your child will be accompanied by a P4 buddy that will take care of him and help him order/buy food for his recess time. Parents will not be allowed to enter the canteen at that time.
Once a day, after recess, your child will have a “brain break” in class.
This break will be around five minutes long. The child will be required, if he wants, to bring a small snack to consume at his desk. As the consumption of the snacks are at his desk, we would normally avoid snacks that could cause a lot of mess.
