It’s almost here!

The annual Children’s Day Carnival, organised by the St. Andrew’s Parent-Teacher Association (SAPTA), is scheduled to be held on 3 October 2024. 

Held during school hours on a Thursday, the event will consist of awesome carnival games and snacks stations that will enable the boys to have a very memorable Children’s Day. This has always been a favourite for our boys every year.

Importantly, the carnival also presents an opportunity for us to raise funds for SAPTA through the sale of coupons to be used during the carnival. The funds will go towards facilitating SAPTA’s various initiatives.

Sale of Carnival Coupons

Our Children’s Day Carnival 2024 draws near, with less than a month to go to 3 October (Thursday). The coupons for the carnival are ready to go on sale. All the games and food stalls will be accepting carnival coupons on that day. 

Do note that there will be no cash transactions; only Carnival coupons will be accepted at food and game stalls.

Pre-ordered coupons will be given to the boys on either the day before or on the day itself. P6 boys can collect theirs on the day of Carnival. 

We are heartened to announce that all students on financial assistance schemes will each receive a $10 pack. “No Saint will be left behind!”. This will be handed out on day of the Carnival.

How many booklets (of 10) should I buy? Planning your spending and time at the carnival:

To determine how many coupons to buy for your son, please consider the following:

1. Time allocated to attend the carnival will be 1hr 15min (extended recess time) split between two main areas: Snacks stalls and Games stalls. The children will be free to move between both areas.
2. We have catered for every child to have at least 2 servings of Food, 2 servings of Snacks and 2 servings of Drinks available to them.
3. Snacks will range between 1 and 3 coupons and to be consumed in the canteen.
4. Games will range between 1 and 3 coupons per play in the main school hall with children completing certain tasks being able to redeem Prizes at the Redemption Booth.

Do note that for this year, the timeslots for our boys to enjoy the Carnival has been lengthened to 75mins each (50mins previously in 2023). 

Our boys will be expected to plan their time and use of coupons given the 1 hour 15 minute timeframe. If your son does run out of coupons, they will be available for purchase on the day itself.
