The COA started its first church service at St Andrew’s School (now the Diocesan Centre) in 1952. Ten years later, they moved to their own church building and were known as the “church on top of the hill”.
In their earlier days, they actively ministered to St Andrew’s School and to the farms and residences around the Potong Pasir pond. Today, we continue to provide chaplaincy care to the boys of St Andrew’s Junior School.
In the 1960s and 1980s, the COA started The Ascension Kindergarten and LSP Ascension (formerly Ascension Kindercare) to provide preschool education and childcare services.
There is a small bell situated around the church that is used in their services. Can you find it?
