The Ascension Kindergarten opened its doors to young children from as early as 1960, operating out of the Saint Andrew's Boarding House, under the name of Saint Andrew's Kindergarten.
In 1962, the Kindergarten moved into the Church of the Ascension Building and it was renamed Ascension Kindergarten.
Since 1993, the Kindergarten has occupied this two-level building which was previously used as the Science block of St Andrew's Secondary School.
Today, the Kindergarten has an enrolment of over 600 students and a staff strength of 46.
The vision of the school has remained steadfast over the years: that is to place children and their needs first, and to lay the foundation in their early years so as to prepare them for the future.
With its growing ambitions, it has recently rebranded to come under the Little Seeds umbrella of preschools. Little Seeds Preschool was born out of a desire to honour each child’s original design and to help each one discover his or her identity and purpose in life. Much like little seeds, our young children have abundant potential for growth, when nurtured in a caring and supportive environment.
